Established in 1979 the Zoo Authority Of Karnataka (ZAK) is registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960 and is governed by a Governing Council comprising of 13 Members. ZAK is aimed at focused and efficient management / development of all the Zoos under its jurisdiction.
