53 forest guard trainees from Forest Training Center, Kadugodi visited Bannerghatta Biological Park yesterday. They were briefed about the management of the park, in situ and ex situ conservation efforts by KFD and Zoos, forest and wildlife laws as well as how they can contribute effectively during animal rescues by our Range Forest Officer, Assistant Director (Veterinary Services) and Dr. Manjunath. They were also taken on zoo rounds to further learn about the various species housed along with their management, feeding, by interacting with animal keepers to learn more about behavior. They also visited the safari and butterfly park to gain further insight.
