International Tiger Day(Bannerghatta)


on the ocassion of International Tiger Day, 86 students from Shree Sai Sadhbhaavana School and Blooming Flowers School took part in a conservation walk from Bannerghatta Circle to the zoo and also a silent march within the zoo premises, to create awareness amongst locals and zoo visitors. They further learnt about the importance of tiger conservation and its role as a flagship species and the how all animals are inter-dependant and the need to conserve nature and wildlife for our survival. Further the students created posters along the same theme and took the wildlife pledge to reinforce our constitutional duty towards protection and conpassion towards all living things. Fig trees were also planted by the students in the zoo premises, to support the local biodiversity.
